The year is 1963, the Vietnam War is in full swing. A group of young US Marines in San Francisco is preparing for a night of fun before being deployed. But this is no ordinary night out. They are participating in a peculiar tradition known as the 'dogfight,' a ruthless competition to find the ugliest date for an exclusive party. The dogfight and their impending mission show the marines' true colours and make protagonist Birdlace question his decisions.
